Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling requests are handled by 911 Mechanic (doing business as 911 Mechanics, “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a service, customers (“you”) agree to the terms below.


1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

1.1. Free Cancellations Before Technician Dispatch

You may cancel or reschedule at no cost as long as the technician has not yet been dispatched to your location.

1.2. Cancellation After Technician Dispatch

Once a technician has been dispatched, traveled, or arrived at your location, a service call fee may be charged to cover travel and time.
This fee is non-refundable and is applied at our discretion depending on distance and technician time.

1.3. Same-Day Bookings

Same-day bookings may be subject to additional service call charges if canceled after dispatch.


2. Inspection Fee Policy

2.1. Free Inspection With Service Approval

Diagnostic inspections are free when you choose to move forward with the recommended repair through 911 Mechanics.

2.2. Declining Repairs After Inspection

If you decide not to proceed with the repair after our diagnostic evaluation, a standard inspection fee will apply.
(This fee is disclosed during the booking process and in our Terms & Conditions.)


3. Refund Policy

3.1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued only under the following circumstances:

  • We were unable to complete the service due to reasons outside your control
  • You were charged incorrectly due to a processing error
  • A part purchased by us was defective and covered under warranty
  • A technician failed to perform the agreed-upon service

3.2. Non-Refundable Charges

The following are non-refundable:

  • Diagnostic/inspection fees (when you decline service)
  • Technician dispatch or travel fees
  • Completed labor services
  • Parts purchased and installed (except in warranty cases)
  • Fees for missed appointments due to your unavailability

3.3. Labor Refunds

Labor costs are non-refundable once the work has been performed.

3.4. Parts Refunds

Parts are refundable only if:

  • The part is unused/uninstalled, or
  • There is a manufacturer defect covered under warranty

Installed parts cannot be refunded unless covered by warranty.


4. Warranty-Related Remedies

All repairs include a 1-year warranty on parts and labor.
Refunds are not provided for warranty claims. Instead, we will:

  • Re-diagnose the issue at no cost
  • Repair or replace defective parts
  • Re-perform the labor if needed

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or external events
  • Pre-existing issues unrelated to the repair
  • Vehicles modified in ways that affect the repair

5. No-Show Policy

If a customer is not present, unreachable, or fails to provide access to the vehicle upon the technician’s arrival:

  • The booking may be marked as a no-show
  • A service call fee or inspection fee may be applied
  • No-show charges are not refundable

6. Special & Promotional Offers

Discount codes, promotional pricing, or special offers:

  • Cannot be retroactively applied
  • Hold no cash value
  • Are non-refundable and non-transferable

7. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe you were incorrectly charged:

  • We will review your case and attempt to resolve it promptly

Unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension of service and recovery actions.
